Osteoporosis Assessment and Treatment

General Physiotherapy

General Physiotherapy includes an initial assessment and followup treatment sessions for various medical conditions other than Chronic Pain or Osteoporosis.

Naturopathic medicine involves a functional medicine approach to healthcare, identifying the biochemical and physiological imbalances within the individual, and using natural, scientifically-proven solutions to rectify these imbalances. Treatment areas include nutrition, sleep, stress management, osteoporosis, diabetes, pain management and orthopaedics.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy services treat incontinence and prolapse issues. Our initial assessment involves an intake. If needed, we will instruct you on pelvic floor physical therapy exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor. Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy services treat incontinence and prolapse issues. Our initial assessment involves an intake. If needed, we will instruct you on pelvic floor physical therapy exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor. We will make sure you understand your pelvic floor exercises and are able to do them well without our continued instruction.

With your permission, we will work with your physician to ensure appropriate follow up is needed such a prescription for vaginal estrogen cream or a referral to a gynaecologist, if this is indicated, for a pessary.


Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is pain that remains and lingers long after an injury has healed. Pain that lasts more than 3 to 6 months and does not respond to traditional treatment, usually gets categorized as chronic pain. We explore ways to reduce or eliminate your pain.
